Just returned home from a trip to Washington D.C. for our son’s retirement from the Marine Corps.  Saw Arlington National Cemetery with the flags decorating the tombstones of thousands of our fallen soldiers.  I was reminded of the high cost many families have paid so we can be free from tyranny and bondage.

Then I thought of the price God paid through Jesus’s death for our sins.  This Memorial Day may we honor our military and let us praise and honor the Lord for our salvation and freedom from the bondage of sin that He provides to those who trust in Him.
